T. L. Dwyer Antiques 121 Old Company Rd. Barto, PA 19504 Tel: 215-679-5036
| AboutTerry Dwyer has been involved with antiques for over 25 years. He has worked as a cataloguer and appraiser for a major East coast auction house and has assisted in the formulation of many fine collections. His knowledge encompasses 18th and early 19th century country furniture, formal furniture, folk art, art and the appropriate accessories of the period. He has always been a proponent of old and original surfaces and feels the patination that has taken a piece 150 -250 years to acquire should be left alone as much as possible. Terry's philosophy is to buy pieces with emphasis on form, condition and surface. Terry and his wife Pam live in rural Berks County, Pennsylvania only 1 hour from Philadelphia and 2 and 3 hours from New York and Washington respectively. The shop is open by appointment only but Terry is usually available on short notice. Although buying and selling antiques is our primary business, Terry also provides appraisals, takes appropriate consignments, provides consultation and authentication services, and auction representation. I realize antiques are very subjective, what appeals to one person does not necessarily appeal to another. To fully appreciate antiques they should be viewed and handled in person. I know it is not always possible for someone to get to my shop, therefore a 100% satisfaction guarantee is offered. I am looking forward to meeting new and prior clients to assist in enhancing their collections. Thank you for viewing the website. |
